The appointment for a Turkish residence permit is booked on e-İkamet and costs nothing. The Presidency of Migration Management says this plainly and warns against intermediaries who charge for appointments.
What a fee can honestly buy
Plenty, just not the slot itself. Choosing the right permit route for how you earn and where you will live. Checking the document list before you buy a flight. Sworn translations. Insurance that the office will accept. Making sure the address you give is one that can actually be registered.
None of that is the appointment.
The claim to walk away from
Anyone offering a faster appointment, a specific officer, or a guaranteed result is describing something they do not control. The decision belongs to the migration authority. An agency can only make the file complete and consistent, which is worth money, and which is a different promise.
Why this matters more than it sounds
The appointment is the part of the process people find most stressful, because slots come and go and the system is in Turkish. That stress is exactly what gets sold back to you. Knowing the slot is free changes what you are willing to pay for, and what you are willing to believe.
